Japanese egg donors, introduced with care and honest information.
Eve Bridge Japan is a Japan-based coordinator. We introduce Japanese women who volunteer as egg donors to partner surrogacy and IVF agencies and clinics in the United States and Mexico. We work in Japanese and English, and we support donors from first contact to their return home.
Our donors
Our donors are Japanese women who live in Japan. They volunteer for egg donation and are compensated through the partner agency. They can withdraw at any time.
Screening
Requirements differ by partner. As a guide, we look for donors who:
- are around 20 to 29 years old;
- are enrolled in, or have graduated from, a four-year university (confirmed with a certificate);
- can provide a recent photo for their profile;
- are within a BMI limit;
- do not smoke and do not use drugs;
- know their own and their family's medical history;
- hold a passport and can travel abroad for several days up to about two weeks.
Medical and psychological screening is done by the partner agency or clinic, under local law. Donors give written consent before any information is shared abroad. We do not ask for medical history in our first forms. We ask after we have explained the process and received consent.
Why donors travel
Japanese clinics rarely perform egg retrieval for third-party donation, and eggs cannot be exported from Japan. Eggs are also subject to FDA screening rules in the United States. So the donor travels to the partner clinic for stimulation and retrieval.
Why we coordinate
- Language: we explain the process to donors in Japanese and translate their documents into English.
- Travel support: we help with travel arrangements, and we can accompany donors when needed.
- A Japanese-speaking liaison: donors have one contact before, during and after the trip, including follow-up care guidance in Japan.
We put the donor's health and free choice first.
For agencies & clinics
We would like to work with surrogacy agencies and IVF clinics that welcome Japanese donors. We are building our partner network now.
What we offer
- Pre-screened donor candidates who match your published criteria.
- Japanese-English coordination: translated documents and a liaison who speaks both languages.
- Travel and logistics support for donors, from preparation to return home.
How a partnership works
- Inquiry by emailTell us about your program, criteria and country. Use the form below or write to [email protected].
- AgreementWe agree on roles, screening responsibilities and terms in writing.
- Donor profiles sharedWith each donor's written consent, we share profiles that fit your criteria.
- MatchingYour team reviews profiles and matches donors with intended parents. Your medical and psychological screening applies.
- Donor travels for retrievalThe donor travels to your clinic. We support her before, during and after the trip.
How we are paid
We receive a referral fee per completed match, agreed in writing. We do not deduct our fee from the donor's compensation. We tell donors and intended parents that we receive referral fees.
We communicate by email only. We do not hold video calls.
For intended parents
We work mainly with single men and male couples who need both an egg donor and a gestational carrier. We also help heterosexual couples who need eggs only. You do not need to decide anything when you first write to us.
Who handles what
Medical care, contracts and payments for treatment are handled by the partner clinic or agency, not by us. We coordinate: language, documents, donor travel and communication.
Process
- Inquiry by emailTell us your situation and what you need: egg donation only, or egg donation with surrogacy.
- Introduction to a partnerWe introduce you to a partner agency or clinic. They review and screen intended parents.
- Donor profilesProfile access is restricted. We share profiles after your inquiry, with each donor's consent. Donors are anonymous.
- Matching and contractsMatching, legal contracts and treatment plans are arranged with the partner. For surrogacy, a carrier is matched as well.
- Donor travel and retrievalThe donor travels to the partner clinic. Eggs are fertilized there, or frozen and sent to your clinic where the receiving country allows it.
What costs typically include
The figures below are rough guides from published articles, not quotes. Actual prices depend on the partner and your situation. The partner gives a written estimate before you sign.
- United States: a surrogacy journey generally totals about USD 100,000 to 140,000, and can exceed USD 250,000 in some cases. Egg donation costs and travel and stay are added to this.
- Mexico (partner under consideration): the local surrogacy program is about USD 60,000 to 80,000. With travel and additional treatment, the total is about USD 90,000 to 110,000. Costs are lower than in the US, but laws and medical standards vary by state and facility.
Typical items include agency fees, the egg donor's compensation and travel, medical care (screening, retrieval, IVF, embryo transfer, prenatal care and birth), legal work, carrier compensation and insurance, and your own travel and stay. Payments are made in stages under your contract with the partner.

The whole process, from first inquiry to the end of paperwork after birth, takes about one and a half to two years for surrogacy. Egg donation only is shorter.
Important notes
Please read before you inquire
- Eve Bridge Japan is not a medical institution or a law firm. We give no medical or legal advice.
- We cannot guarantee a pregnancy or a birth.
- Laws differ by country and by state. Rules on surrogacy, parentage, citizenship and travel documents for the child vary and can change. Please consult a lawyer who knows the laws of every country involved before you sign anything.
- Donor anonymity and identity release depend on the donor's own choice and on the partner's program. DNA testing may make it possible for a donor or a child to be identified in the future.
